The dress code is semi-formal. Think smart suits (ties encouraged but not essential) and nice dresses at the knee or longer.
If you're not sure what to wear, check out this link for inspiration. If still unsure, contact Serena!
If you want to avoid matching the bridal party, bridesmaids will be wearing Cabernet/Burgundy.
Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a free wine tasting, or you can purchase drinks from the bar.
From 5:30 pm, canapés will be served and the bar will open, offering unlimited wine, beer, cider, and soft drinks all evening.
A seated dinner will follow, featuring alternating entrée and main courses, with dessert served roaming style.
Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. However if you have a babe in arms and attending would be difficult without them, please get in touch.
We kindly ask that cameras and phones are put away during the ceremony, so our photographer can capture the moment and everyone can fully be present. You are welcome to take photos after the ceremony.
Yes, there is ample parking on site. If you want to know more about getting to the venue, have a look at our Travel & Stay section.
You are allowed to leave your vehicles overnight.
If you would like to give a gift, we would be grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon and future adventures. There will be a wishing well at the reception.
The reception will end at 11:00pm

We recommend traveling by car to the venue, there is ample parking on site.
Please remember that our wedding is on a school day, so you may need to factor this in to travel time.

Taxis and rideshare services are notoriously difficult to get in the Yarra Valley, so we do not recommend relying on them to get home. If you plan to use a Taxi, please call early in the evening to pre-book a service.

A bus has been arranged to collect guests from both the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel and Balgownie Estate before the ceremony, and to return everyone to these hotels at the end of the night.
This bus is now full, and guests who will be taking the bus have recieved an email with details of pick up times, etc.
